Amelia Lee, LCSW-QS, is a revered figure in clinical social work and the aunt of the founder of Famlee First Clinical Services, Robert “Rick” Lee.
With an illustrious career spanning 34 years in Florida’s children and family sector and over 20 years in private psychotherapy practice, she has left an indelible mark on the field. Born and raised in Fort Pierce, Florida, Amelia now resides in Palm Beach, where she continues to offer virtual therapy services across the state, ensuring accessibility for a wide range of clients. She is a proud alumna of Florida A&M University (FAMU), where she earned her BS, and Florida International University, where she obtained her MSW. Amelia is also an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and a Life Member of the National Alumni Association FAMU, reflecting her deep community ties.

Amelia’s professional journey includes over 10 years of inpatient work in a geriatric care facility, where she developed a profound understanding of aging-related challenges and end-of-life issues. Her extensive experience also encompasses a broad spectrum of therapy services, working with youth, families, adults, and diverse populations across socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. This rich tapestry of experience informs her compassionate, client-centered approach, which has guided countless individuals toward healing and growth.

As a therapist, Amelia focuses on Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), grief counseling, stress management, anxiety treatment, parental guidance, and geriatric mental health. Her therapeutic style is warm and insightful, drawing on decades of expertise to address the unique needs of each client. Beyond her clinical work, Amelia takes pride in her family legacy—her son, a veteran, owns Famlee First Pest Control, a testament to the family’s entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to community service.
